Subly is an online browser subtitling service. Upload your video on the Subly web site, choose the language (or even the dialect) of your subtitles (various flavors of English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Brazilian, Italian, Dutch – some still in beta). The service transcribes the video in no time (during our test a three-minute video took less than that time to be transcribed), and the quality of the transcription is not perfect (as with all automatic speech to text services) but it is not bad at all. Editing and stylizing the subtitles is super-easy: changing font, colors, style… The subtitles can be downloaded in the professional .srt format and re-used in other platforms (YouTube, Vimeo) or to burn the titles in the video in your subtitler or video editor. The site is in a very early stage and not all functionalities are working yet (I couldn’t download my own video with the subtitles burnt in yet) but still it is worth giving it a try. It is not clear what the pricing will be, for the time being trialing the service is free: https://www.getsubly.com
