Study finds Finnish students better able to detect fake news than American students

Writing in Quartz, Annabelle Timsit reports on an interesting study which began in 2015 in the US and which was re-visited in 2017 in Finland comparing high school students abaility to detect fake news. The study which was initially designed to test critical thinking online showed that in the US, students ability to reason about information on the Internet was pretty poor.
