Margot Douaihy’s recent article in AVTechnology tracks the growing impact of lecture capture in universities in the US and points to the potential of AI and AR to increase lecture capture’s popularity. Lecture capture is already extremely well established in many US universities, every one of their 700 classroom in Indiana University for example is capable of offering lecture capture. Much of this increase can be put down to student demand along with making the equipment as easy to use as possible.
