The annual meeting of the Opencast community will take place at Ghent University February 5-7. While its focus is on the use of Opencast as a video management system, it will also broach other issues in the domain of academic video, e.g. DIY video, video annotation, and the use of video lectures in teaching and learning. Plus, Emily Nordmann will be giving a keynote on that very topic, Margret Plank on new playouts for rich media. Find out more here and the call for proposals is open here.
