The Future Learners

Dominant form of instruction in the US is video

A recent study carried out by Pearson in the US found that the main form of instruction across most subjects is now watching a video (66% respondents) compared to listening to a lecture (52% respondents). Together with The Harris Poll, Pearson conducted a survey of 2,600 people aged 14-40. The findings of the survey give an interesting overview of how students perceive the value of higher education, their motivations and how they want to learn. The report written by Jeffrey J.
